WHAT IS REFORMER PILATES?

At Proud, our Reformer Pilates classes are carried out using the reformer machine and are generally more intense due to the added resistance from the machine’s springs.

REFORMER PILATES CLASSES

There are many types of Reformer Pilates, and each form focuses on something slightly different - but all provide amazing results physically and mentally.

Reformer Essentials is a beginners level reformer class but also perfect for those returning to Pilates and it focuses on technique and breathing to help develop your core muscles. We recommend booking this class if you are new to reformer pilates.

Reformer: Strength (not suitable for beginners) is an intense full body workout using the reformer machine and it focuses on building strength, increasing mobility and creating length and balance in our bodies.

Reformer: Stamina (not suitable for beginners) is a HIIT style workout using apparatus such as the jumpboard and it focuses on pushing through mental barriers whilst breaking a sweat.

Reformer Stretch is a full body stretch that helps improve posture and flexibility using the reformer and focuses on alleviating tension and stress from the body and mind.
